4th July.

This is the day of the St Teresa School's Food and Fun Fair.

The day before, a few friends and I skipped school to bake like we've never baked before.

These are some of the cupcakes we made the day before:-

Chocolate cupcakes with vanilla buttercream and a fondant shape with sprinkles.

We dusted these colourful buttercream cupcakes with cocoa powder.

We cut out shaped on transparent plastic paper and sieved the cocoa powder on top. We spent the whole day before cutting out these shaped. We ended up with about 30 different designs.

We also made some chocolate buttercream but I didn't manage to take nice pictures of them.

I also didn't take any pictures from the Food and Fun Fair itself as I was pretty busy. I'm also too lazy to talk about what happened that day so I guess I'll end this post here.

Father's Day!

Today, for Father's Day, I made Devil's Food Cake. For my dad. No DUH. Well, Devil's Food Cake is actually just a chocolate cake with a hint of citrus. I think.

Well, in my Devil's Food Cake, I used a chocolate base, and topped it off with some citrus flavoured white icing and a dusting of orange peel.

Tada! The finished product!

I'm so proud of myself!

Actually, I haven't tasted it yet. So I wouldn't actually know if it tasted like a slice of Heaven. But at least it looks like a slice of Heaven!

For Mother's Day, I actually baked her some Chocolate Blueberry Muffins. Which did taste like a muffin sent from God.

But I forgot to take pictures. Oops!

Monday Cupcakes.

Yes! It is Saturday. and, Yes! I am late in posting again. But at least I'm doing it.

Well, I have been really busy lately. In this week, I have had mountains of homework thus causing me to be super tired and resulting in me sleeping like a rock. ~~Even during class...~~

Once, after coming home from Math tuition, I fell asleep. It was 5.30 p.m. at the time. Then, I woke up at 5.30 a.m. I was so screwed. I didn't do any of my homework and might I remind you that I had mountains of it at the time.

I arrived in school early that day. As soon as my butt touched the chair, I started writing like nobody's business. School lasts for about 6 hours a day. I was writing non-stop for about 5 hours of it. Even through break.

I felt like such an idiot. I've never written so much in my life before. I felt as if my arm was going to break off. Never in my life had I wished I could write with both hands so badly before.

Well, at least there's a happy ending to the story. I managed to finish almost all my leftover homework and managed to pass up all the ones I needed by that day. I felt so relieved! *sigh*

Well... onto the cupcakes!!

We are having pre-sales in school to earn money for our actual food and fun fair sale. Please come to support us by the way... So Monday was our turn to contribute. We have been doing this for the past 3 or 4 months now.

I apologize for never posting it up due to my lazy-ness. Well...

We made cupcakes for Monday's pre-sale. Duh. They were chocolate based cupcakes with vanilla-mint buttercream or coffee-chocolate buttercream.

Here are some pictures. Aside from that I really have nothing else to say other than we sold them all.

My Unupdated Baking

Hello everyone! Aren't you all happy that I'm finally updating? Well, I'm actually still pretty lazy to update. I'm just going to post up a few pictures of my recent bakings. If you call the begining of the year recent. I know I haven't updated at all recently, and you can't blame me. I've just found other things to do!

Also, I just recently got back from my trip to Perth. When I get them, and I'm hardworking enough, I'll post up the pctures here.

These aren't all of the things I've made up till now. I didn't manage to take any new photoes of my new creations so I guess I'll settle with these:-

Homemade pasta!

Recently, I've also been experimenting with new cupcakes and cookies. It's unfortunate I was lazy to take pictures at the time. I've also made chocolate brownies and lemon bars. I also made chocolate cake slices and banana chocolate chip muffins for teachers day.

Chinese New Year's Eve Dinner

We had our Chinese New Year's Eve dinner at Hilton. We had to make reservations early and were lucky to still be able to get two tables.

When I asked my mum what I should wear, she said 'Up to you lah!' Then, I asked her if it was cold and she gave me a simple 'dunno'. I ended up going in a mini black skirt and fitting top, causing me to freeze my ass off after the first dish.

The first table was ours. All the closer relatives. Grandparents and all. The second table was taken up by my relatives on my dads side.

My cousins came to spend Chinese New Year here again this year. They recently just moved to Singapore fron Hong Kong but they're part British.

When the first dish arrived, we had to do the mixing thingy. They also tossed fresh sliced salmon into it. Somehow I managed to convince Millie it was ham and made her eat it. She has this phobia of eating raw fish because she thinks it'll give her worms in her brain.

After putting it in her mouth, she chewed and swollowed. Then she said it was nice but it tasted kind of gummy. When I told her it was raw fish, she freaked out, punched me in the shoulder and started drinkin lots and lots of water. The look on her face was priceless.

It got pretty cold after a while so the little kids went out to play near the lobby. Maddy and Megan took the sashes off the chairs and made themselves look like Miss America's. So ridiculous... but kind of funny.

Aside from all that, we bought a giant cookie that cost us RM4! We were hungry and the food was slow. You can't really blame us. I also saw Doro there. Other than that, nothing else happened that was off much interest.

Mummy's Birthday!

My mummy's birthday was on the 3rd of January. It is currently the 3rd of March. That just shows how often I update.

Anways...

My mummy got a tiramisu cake from Tom's. Mmmm...

If you look at the chocolate thing with the 'Happy Birthday' written on it, you'll notice that it's cracked. My sisters have realli itchy fingers.

By some miracle, my little sister managed to convince my mum to let her blow out the candles. Well, that's a complete lie. She always gets to blow out the candles. Regardless of who's birthday it is.
